Hunt Elementary would like to thank the Hunt PTC Parent Teacher Committee (PTC) for their time and efforts in providing a fun filled evening for our students on Friday night! Thank you, PTC team for providing such a fun evening for our school community!!! The Hunt movie night was a success and was enjoyed by all!! Here are some great photos of the evening:

Congratulations to the following students: Johnny Hernandez, 4th Grade, Luis Perez, 5th Grade, Kenia Rodriguez, 5th Grade, Nelly Tovar-Herrera, 5th Grade, and Angel Kajle, 5th Grade! Nice work, students!! We are so proud of you!!!
Congratulations to Nelly Tovar-Herrera, who will be going on to represent Hunt Elementary and the Newman Crows-Landing Unified School District at the County Spelling Bee in November. Great job, Nelley!!!
Thank you to the Newman Fire Department for visiting Hunt today and speaking to the students about fire safety. We also got a visit from Sparky the Fire Dog and got to see a fire truck up close!

Welcome to September, Hunt Community! The September Newsletter was sent home with students today. Please see the newsletter for upcoming events and details!
Weekly art classes at Hunt have begun! This week, students enjoyed going to their first art class. We had several classes begin their art class today. Those that did not have art today will get their art class next Tuesday. Students had a wonderful time today, learning about art with Mrs. Ball, our district art teacher.

We had a great TIGERS Assembly this morning with all grade levels! Students did a wonderful job showing their Hunt Tiger pride and following assembly procedures. When Mrs. Williams asked how their first couple of weeks have gone, one student replied “we have learned a lot already.” That is music to our ears!
