Tuesday was “Book Character Day” and today, Wednesday, students wore their favorite colors. Also today, we made sure to all “Drop Everything And Read” at exactly 2:05 pm.
Our Read Across America Week continues tomorrow with Superhero/Comic Book Day and seeing which Hunt students will win the Illustration and Bookmark Challenges.










Today was “Cozy up with a good book” day! Hunt students were visited by special mystery readers who read aloud to the class.







Congratulations to our students of the month for February, earning awards in Academics and our monthly character trait: Leadership.
Read Across America Week is next week, with Monday being pajama day!
Also next week is National School Breakfast Week. The cafeteria will be serving special breakfast items with the theme: “A Quest for School Breakfast”…the items are:
Monday: Dragons Pancakes
Tuesday: Adventures Breakfast bowl (egg, cheese, hash browns& sausage)
Wednesday: Royal muffins (strawberry & blueberry)
Thursday: Rise & shine English muffin (bacon, egg& cheese)
Friday: Power start parfait (granola, yogurt &blueberries
These breakfast items are on a first come, first serve basis in the morning.

Hunt 1st and 2nd graders took a field trip to the Fresno Zoo today!







Hunt students had an out of this world assembly today! A huge planetarium dome took over our gym and students got to enter and experience a very cool presentation about our Solar System.

Congratulations to our January students of the month in the areas of iReady achievement, academic achievement and our monthly character trait of perseverance. We made sure to acknowledge attendance and also our 100th day of school, which was today.
But first, we were treated to a fantastic performance from our Baile Folklorico club. It was a great start to our assembly!










Congratulations to our November students of the month who earned awards in the areas of iReady, Academics, our monthly character trait of Gratitude as well as attendance.
We hope everyone has a wonderful fall break next week! We return on Monday, December 1st.

Hunt students had a great time at our first ever Hunt Pumpkin Patch! Each student was able to enjoy some popcorn or a cotton candy and pick out a huge pumpkin to take home. What a great way to end our week!










Join us Friday, October 24th from 5-7pm for our Harvest Festival. We will have games, prizes and will raffle off our fundraising baskets.

Congratulations to our September award winners for their hard work in iReady, academics and our character trait of responsibility. We also had our monthly attendance raffle for students who were at school every day.

We had a great start to our Olympics today with 2nd and 3rd grade events. Tomorrow we continue with TK, Kinder, 1st and Autism events beginning at 8:30am.
